And this is why everyone should buy it!!! It’s so good and needed. I’m gay and found myself in this book many of times, this was a beautiful read. Pretty sure I’ve read this more than anyone else (Aaron has been told many of times that I’ve read/ listened too it)

I read your book last year while working on my thesis for grad school, as my thesis was an excerpt of my YA novel (which is still very much a work in progress), revolving around two queer, Mexican American characters, and I absolutely loved it. Quique’s experience felt so raw and honest. I was so inspired by your writing and in awe of the story you created, and wish I’d had a story like it when I was a teenager. I may no longer be a teen, but I can tell you it still meant a lot to me, as I’m sure it does to many other people out there (especially to those who don’t get to see themselves represented as much as they should). ❤️

Books (like yours) are the exact sort of books that I am usually drawn to. And with the representation, it's the sort of book that I definitely wish was more accessible when I was that age. I'm so sorry you don't get the publisher support you deserve! Given what I know about publishing, I can't say I'm surprised. Hopefully things improve!
