@trueandfaithful: We can’t let Tigger down 😭💔… Our rescue still needs $4,411.78 to cover his surgery for two broken legs. We are almost halfway there but his surgery is scheduled for TODAY!! In just a few hours, this baby will be on the operating table, finally getting the chance to heal… but we cannot make that happen without you! Tigger came to us at only 10 months old, both of his legs broken, confused and in pain, yet still trying to wag his tail when we spoke to him. Most rescues would choose to euthanize a case like this, but we see something so much bigger in him. We see the sparkle in his eyes when someone shows him kindness. We see the way he pushes through the pain, trying to stand even when it hurts. We see the little hop he carries with him as if to say, “I’m not giving up.” He deserves a chance to run again, to play again, to know what it feels like to be loved and safe without pain. We promised him that he would never be failed again, but we cannot keep that promise without your help.
