In Summer, 99% of ppl in st julians are tourists, not locals. Maltese rarely go to st julians anymore 😅

Sorry what do you expect ppl to do ? Role out a rainbow carpet and throw you a perade? People just want to get on with their lives they don’t ultimately care about your preferred sexuality. Regarding pv unfortunately it’s full of low cost tourists

People who don't get Maltese humor will definitely feel attacked. They're lovely people and they don't judge you based on your gender preference. Well, I don't invalidate what you feel but for me Maltese people are just amazing!

I’m surprised, I’ve never had any of this been living here 2 years and even hold my partners hand in public so I’m unsure where you are being yelled at as it’s not bulky Maltese people or most people who live here it’s probably a tourist who yelled at you.

I spent 6 weeks there in 2018, I fully agree. They have very progressive laws but it’s quite a conservative country.

sorry for your experience just to let you know saying Julian's is frequented by kids from the English schools and mostly teenagers for better experiences go to Valletta cafe society being recommendation
