No, you shouldn’t. Be careful and keep looking around. Spent 2 months there and now in Bangkok. Amazing the different culture. Nobody steals anything here. They hold their table with a phone and purse and go to the bathroom lol. Just fine.

Doesn’t matter where you travel always be aware of your surroundings and keep your belongings close. Heard the horror stories about Barcelona but visited the City and was fearful the first 4 hours till you see the city wake up after 9 pm. It’s a fun and safe city, and one can be out till 3-5 am, stayed their for 2 weeks and all you have to do is use your common sense and enjoy the City and it’s architecture
