@tt_newsbeforenews: A man whose girlfriend was robbed in broad daylight, ran down and apprehended the bandit in Port-of-Spain. He held the man down until police arrived and detained the thief. Identified only as Josiah from Central, the man told police he was walking with his girlfriend along the Brian Lara Promenade just after 2 pm when someone snatched her handbag and fled. Josiah gave chase, cornering the suspect in front of Nicholas Towers on the sidewalk and subduing him, while bystanders called the police. Video by Ian Wason.
