A large portion of spam isn’t even legitimate, and by “unsubscribing” you’re simply telling the sender that they’ve reached an active email address to use in future attacks. Never interact with unrecognized email, and trust your gut. Be safe out there.

Unfortunately the real scam and spam emails that you really wanna get rid of are always changing their sender email accounts so you can never truly get rid of them even if you block them or put them in the junk mail.
