@millsrnelson: 1. We created welcome “picnic” baskets including some Southern staples and recovery aids 2. We had my initials and wedding dates (Covid bride 😂) sewn into the lining of my dress. I love even more that it has both the original and rescheduled date  3. No one except my Mom and sister had seen my dress before so it was extra fun surprising all my bridesmaids when I got dressed 4. My husband gifted all of his groomsmen unique needlepoint cufflinks that were personalized to each of them. They also wore them that day. 5. We buried a bottle of bourbon upside down in the backyard (reception venue) a year before the wedding and then dug it up on the day of the wedding. This is a southern tradition that ensured good weather for the wedding day and it came through for us! 6. We had the live band play our first dance song. It felt much more fun and lively than playing a recorded track 7. My “something borrowed” was a three-strand pearl bracelet that my dad gifted to my mom the day I was born 🥹 8. Since the church and our reception were just a stones throw away we had a trolly pick up the wedding party and transport us to the church and then back to the house for the reception. I will truly never forget all the bridesmaids singing “Chapel of Love” on the trolly ride over to the church #wedding #weddingday #weddingtok #weddinginspo
