Neuropathy of Unknown Cause (Idiopathic)
Neuropathy, or nerve damage, can arise from various factors. The most common cause is diabetes, due to prolonged high blood sugar levels damaging nerves. Other significant causes include infections (like HIV, shingles, Lyme disease), autoimmune disorders (like rheumatoid arthritis and lupus), injuries, vitamin deficiencies, alcohol abuse, and certain medications (especially chemotherapy drugs). Additionally, some inherited conditions, like Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease, can also lead to neuropathy. 5. Vitamin Deficiencies and Malnutrition: Deficiencies in B vitamins (especially B12), or malnutrition can impair nerve function.
6. Alcohol Abuse: Long-term, excessive alcohol consumption can damage nerves, leading to alcoholic neuropathy.
7. Medications: Certain medications, including some chemotherapy drugs, certain antibiotics, and some medications for high blood pressure ……. So basically anything that causes us to be a FKN mess gives us Neuropathy … I hv it ouch … epson salt baths… Good night 🌙😘😴💤
