I dont ever give my personal number to any company I have worked for I give them a prepaid number for hiring purposes. after i got hired I never turned it on.

my former workplace did this to an employee who had a RESTRAINING ORDER against someone. they knew and still gave them her contact info. the lawsuit that followed was glorious. heads rolled with the entire management team.

The help desk at my last job kept giving out my personal cell to floor staff for some strange reason. I repair medical equipment, and I had nurses calling me directly on a weekend to come in. Nah fam, I know it's not your fault so I'll have a convo with the help desk, but I'm not coming in. It got to the point I had to threaten escalating it if the help desk supervisor didn't tell her employees to quit giving out my personal cell. Fun times.

I’m going through a similar situation at work, except that they didn’t give him my phone number, but he’s going around telling everyone that he got coached just for “talking” to me & about how he doesn’t understand why I’m being mean. Uh, no. He got coached because he’s being inappropriate with me & other women at work & can’t handle rejection. 🙄
