This is a good point. Because if we notice many modern stuff today, things are made in mass production or fast fashion settings. Though things can work, but no longer hold the details we have back in the days like vintage craftsmanship. Noticeably in makeup, furniture and pottery

not sure if you've tried one before, but want to mention it if not, there are magnifying glass stands that can be used for small/detailed work so you're not straining your eyes as much! I use it for painting minis/small polymer clay items
