Hey rich, I have a 2020 f150 2.7 EB and I'm about to hit 100k miles pretty soon. What would you recommend I get done to it, maintenance wise to make sure she keeps running great. I feel this. Plus our new gm is changing our pay up, hours won't be closed until the customer pays. In the powersports industry that doesn't work. I'm looking at a 30 hour paycheck. Going to have a nice talk about things might be to roll on.

So this happens a lot. I’m like you just leave me alone but it’s also an ego boost to be needed or wanted. I understand the value of high value clients and those that simply need my services. I’ve been around a while so older stuff like older diesels and some tow truck and ambulance services always request my services for their diesel work. It should make you feel good that you are at the top of your game and can be counted on. The pay system needs an overhaul for sure. I have a great plan but others don’t and that’s something the industry needs to address. 👍🔥

This is two fold. Flat-rate will always have this frustration. Good money can be made, but there will always be times where you feel like you missed out. On the being bothered throughout the day, it can be frustrating, but hourly wouldn't affect your pay. Then the boss can wine about paying you and 1/2 the work getting done.

I manage all the maintenance at a hospital. I know how it feels to have all the responsibilities riding on you and no one else being able to handle situations. You definitely deserve to be paid well and extra in these situations. Time off will do your head some good. Enjoy your family. God bless

Enjoy the vacation, it will do you good. Sounds like they need to give you more paid vacation or time off. They know your worth, they may be taking advantage to make themselves look good.

I have dealt with this when I was at a Subaru dealership. I got to the point where I would tell my writer that I would not continue working on the engine if I kept getting pulled off the job and someone else could figure out where I left off. They stopped pulling me off of engine jobs/bigger jobs after that. we also had 18 techs in the shop and at least 6 decent ones. But I have definitely felt this.

Can’t turn my hours for having to the stuff the other techs can’t. They get the jobs and can’t do it or don’t have the tools needed and I have to finish it. So tired of this bs
