my house was a new build by DR Horton. I hired an inspector and found no issues. I've lived there for over a year and never had a issue.

My friend had Dr Hornton house and had lot issues. He sued them and won. You need to take them to court.

Find the fresh air intake vent, the one where the HVAC system draws air from the outside and ELIMINATE IT. We eliminated ours and the humidity is now always below 20%.

What most people don’t realize is that the homes in these new construction videos are oddball and rare. We just see one unfortunate situation and all immediately jump to “don’t buy houses!” Not defending anyone or anything but the sensationalism on TT gets to a point

The realtors that sell these home need a time out. Most of the time the buyer don’t know. They think it’s a good builder but the realtors?!?!? SPECIALLY if they are “experienced” realtors. Why are they showing these houses 😭😭

Our ex-agent kept trying to steer us to DRH and kept saying how they were the biggest builder in America. Found out they were giving extra incentives to agents. DRH is trash and real estate agents are the used car salesmen of the housing industry. A big 🖕 to you Sheri

I sued these guys back in the late 90’s over my house build. If it weren’t for Lennar, these guys would be the worst homebuilder in the US. But sheeple keep signing up.

We hate our DR Horton too. First week our pipes clogged because plumping messed up. No insulation. Repairs too forever…. We were in year two and things were not getting fixed. Ugh awful!

As someone that has done work for DR Horton doing their garage doors, their GCs don’t listen to problems that won’t let me complete my job so we stopped doing work for them
