The first thing I noticed was the texture — it’s a lightweight oil, not thick or sticky like some cleansing oils can be. It glides over the skin so smoothly, and it feels more like a nourishing facial treatment than just a makeup remover. When I massage it in, I can feel it breaking down my sunscreen and makeup without needing to scrub. Even waterproof mascara melts away, which is a big deal because I’ve had other oils leave raccoon eyes behind. The rice extract adds that extra softening effect — my skin always feels velvety afterward. One surprise? A little goes a long way. I thought I’d burn through the bottle quickly, but 2 pumps is plenty for a full face of makeup. Also, it emulsifies beautifully with water, no weird oily film left behind. If I had to nitpick, the pump is a bit sensitive — it dispenses more than I sometimes need if I’m not careful. And if you’re someone who likes that “squeaky clean” stripped feeling (which isn’t great for skin anyway), you might find this too moisturizing. But for me, it’s one of the few cleansing oils that truly feels like skincare in itself, not just a step I have to get through.
