We know when Ragtha said that he was just trying to get pomni to abstract. and by how mad he got we can see he was indeed trying to abstract her. Since he immediately shot her. And we see he was was mad after but when pomni showed up he popped up a smile to hide his anger. to seem nice. After she hugged him he didnt want her to abstract like at first and thought if she hung out with him any longer she would abstract.
