I’ve slept all over the Sierra Nevada. From the high east side to the lush forests of the west side. Never experienced anything but peace, joy and tons of fun. I have smelled some really bad odors, but it turned out to be me.

I live in the Sierra Nevada foothills. I can 100% say there is big foot in those woods. French meadows at night is terrifying. I heard a noise ive never heard before scream/growl. terrifying

I grew up in the Sierras and am now a forester working in them, too. Any odd encounters have just been humans, usually on drugs or whatever. The Sierras are wonderful and majestic and there’s no reason to be afraid here ❤️

I have camped out in several different places in the sierra Nevadas since I live in California. as a child and adult ... had bears go through campsites next to mine three times as an adult.

Bro I grew up in north San Juan Sierra Nevada , our house was 45 minutes away from any town or anything , we lived on a native American burial ground , we found bones all kinds of stuff, we have probably 1000 story’s of what happened to us there !!!
