Woman asked me out to drinks last min because her date had just cancelled on her and she was all dressed up with nowhere to go. I was free. So I went. I paid for the cocktails and she didn't even offer to pay. Then she said let's go get dinner and I thought this is where she was going to reciprocate and pay. Had dinner. Bill came. Nope, didn't offer again. So I paid again. Then thanked her, went home and unmatched her. Never doing that again.

I think women should just stay upfront that they want the whole date meal to paid for. Just express your expectations. And The Man should do the same. The woman who accepts the date should have her date paid for. And the woman will probably have expectations put on her also that are unreasonable. It goes both ways.

I'm a Les and I always pay. Had someone ask me out , they picked the place, but I still paid. I did order all kinds of stuff including food for them and I to take home. so, I would not expect them to pay for that.

The thing many of the men in the comments are missing is that they exist in a social and economic framework that supports their financial success, and the women they date do not. Pay the bill and argue about fairness when women are paid equally. ✌️
