I say this with the utmost love… please look up “kiss to dismiss” behavior. This sweet dog is being extremely tolerant of these interactions, but the signals are there that he/she is not comfortable. When those signals go ignored, it can lead to escalating levels of communication aka growl/snap/bite.

I don’t have a degree in animal behavior. I’ve owned animals my whole entire life. I’ve had a dog live to be 20 years old and all I know is that I can sense if my dog is a danger. I know that I trust my dog around my child, kid, baby more than I do most people.
