How to have the best sleep of your life with PCOS: We tend to have sleep issues in PCOS because of three main reasons- imbalanced blood sugar, overactive stress hormones, or poor planning. The first step is to fix the routine. Make sure it's melatonin producing- low lights, no blue light devices or at least blockers, cold room, blackout curtains. Make sure you have a scheduled thing that you stick to most nights: in bed by a certain time, reading or low stress internet, Skincare, etc. Try to get to sleep before 11 p.m. because that's when our bodies naturally like to spike cortisol if still awake and that high will last until around 1 or 2 am 🙃 If your routine is good and you still struggle a lot, it's likely adrenals out of balance. For that you may need more support.
