the nurse held my daughter's head in because she was coming out before the dr got to my room. I ended up having severe pelvic pain for MONTHS afterwards. I told my husband to NEVER let a nurse do that to me again. my body was trying to push her out and she was pushing to keep her.

I’d love your thoughts on Rosemary Kennedy actually since you mentioned holding the baby inside the mom, that’s allegedly what happened to Rosemary & they suspect that led to her mental disabilities which unfortunately lead to a lobotomy. The attention nurse held rosemary inside her mom for TWO hours.

I was that 14 year old girl also so yeah definitely I think till this day as a mom how no one noticed they didn’t buy me anything for my period 🤦🏽♂️for atleast 7-8 months is crazy

L&D RN - never hold a head in. Just deliver the baby or let it deliver itself. We did car/elev/lobby deliveries all the time. Again, much safer.

My sister had a baby at 15. We never knew because she wore bigger clothing and still Mother Nature showed up every month. One morning she accidentally run into the dinette stand against her side and told my mom she was in serious pain. Dad & Mom took her to the clinic a few seconds from their home which had small lab, and X-ray. Back then they did not do preg tests before X-rays and surprise she was in labor. They took my parents to the Drs personal office and told them they became grandparents 😩 I am 10 yrs older than her and she never even told me or her best friends. The OB said she was in denial and never realized she was pregnant. So yes it happens more than we know. He is now 36 and thriving.
