At 7–8 weeks, normally we expect to see a fetal pole and heartbeat. If only yolk sac is seen and no fetal pole or cardiac activity, it is suspicious for early pregnancy failure. But final diagnosis cannot be made on single scan. A follow-up ultrasound after 1 week and serial β-hCG levels are advised. If growth and heartbeat do not appear on follow-up, then unfortunately pregnancy is not viable.

Any help - went in at 6 weeks ( thinking I was 8 weeks based off last period) was having a different all together pregnancy then my others I was brown spotting for at least 2/3 weeks I asked if there were any signs of 2 babies he looked around got told no only 1 went in again at 8 weeks and a second sak appeared but didn’t see nothing inside made a appointment for another ultrasound at 10 weeks to see what it is? Which will be this coming Saturday

Sorry but be careful because until 9 weeks, I had a vitellin sac but not fetal pôle or heartbeat. And then, the fetuses showed up. They were just twins.

I was 6 weeks — Dr told me my pregnancy failed and advised me to terminate, to prevent further complications. I listened and I regret it 100% because yesterday marked 7 weeks and I passed a clot with a fetus in .. 1 week post abortion pills 😭💔So wait till 10 weeks instead just to be safe 🫶🏼

8 weeks pregnant on Friday the heart beat was 105 💔 and no growth since our 6wk scan at 6 weeks the heartbeat was 115 they advised us to terminate the pregnancy as it is not healthy 😢 but I don't have heart too!

This just happened to me and it was guessed I am around 8-10 weeks but no baby and no fetal pole so I had to do more blood work to check my hormones to see if it’s risen or gone down … I never had this happen before 5th pregnancy last ended in a miscarriage 3 years ago … pls someone help
