Please tell me you never had a slurp of your dad's beer froth from a young age. I don't know one family that turns a blind eye to that.

Up until 1992 Gripe Water (given to doubtless hundreds of thousands of babies) contained alcohol here in the UK.

Hidden Treasures :
I was brought up in a household where we offered at a young age wine (with added water) at the dinner table. Barely used to accept it, as it didn’t bother me and alcohol still doesn’t play a huge role in my life. My parents were never huge alcohol drinkers (a glass of wine maybe once or twice a week and never spirits) and my children were brought up on a similar principle and none of my children drink alcohol to excess. I think children need to be taught how to moderate and be responsible and respect what alcohol can do 🤔

my 4 used to have a very small wine at Xmas & new year from about 5. as got bit older, used to have lagar with lemonade if watching a football match. and NONE of mine felt the need to drink on the sly in the streets as teens as wasn't a thrill for them

It’s quite common in Italy for children to have a small wine with a meal. I have a 13 year old that had a glass of Pimm’s with me last night, this isn’t a regular thing and usually only happens in the summer time when we BBQing

alcohol will be out priced soon so nobody will be drinking alcohol, but I don't think it should be legal, if this is happening just give them a cigarette, just saying
