@lifestyle_and_smiles: I’m back on HRT… starting with 1 pump of the estrogen gel in the morning… and utrogestan ❤️#hrt#hrtrimenopause #perimenopausejourney #estrogen #progesterone
Honestly, watching and listening to so many videos of women describing how they feel on HRT is making me anxious about trying it. It seems that many of the imbalances and side effects described are worse than my actual menepause symptoms. Not sure if thinking about how we feel every minute of the day is helping us. So confused.😏

Why don’t you take progesterone only (utrogestan)? It might be better for you

I’m 8 months post op from hysterectomy with ovaries removed it’s been a rough road testosterone has helped massively my levels were so low … got my oestrogen levels up and started progesterone formally getting there it’s a lot of fine tuning x

focus on levels and not on dose. try to get your FSH 10 or lower. investigate the connection of FSH and estradiol

This is the biggest problem! It’s all trial and error, I came off the gel too because it was so hit and miss…. 18 months later and I’m desperate to try again

do you think the hrt gel has made you gain weight or do you think the testosterone gel did? I have always been a petite kinda girl, now I just feel like a chub all over. Not sure if it's the gels 🙄🙄

If you are a good absorber of the gel it is really good even half of a pump extra makes a difference for me. So I used 2 in the morning and 1/2 in the evenings and that works great.

Thanks for sharing your experience it’s helped a lot knowing I’m not the only one struggling with HRT. I’m 46 Started evorel sequi after 10 years of extremely heavy painful but regular periods. Felt worse much more regular bleeding. Now been on evorel 50 with the utro day 12-28 for three months had same issues much more frequent heavy bleeding. Cut the e50 patch in half and reduced my utrogestan to half can’t say I’m feeling better at all worse infact. I am considering coming off it altogether or trying utro only. 🙏🏻
