he’s the most well-rounded. he’s the believable geek, the weirdo, the average-looking guy you’d never suspect to be a superhero and that’s what makes him the best peter. but then on the spidey side he’s true to the comics, brave despite his own fear and loyal to his cause despite his own desires, not to mention the fact that they leaned into the LITERAL spider aspect of his abilities. he is the best by far

tbf, i don't think anyone's ever claimed goat maguire spidey to "never be a jerk" lmao. he's definitely the angriest, most emotionally turbulent of the spidermen, and the only one to get a venom suit, which ppl literally call "bully maguire." even the haters don't deny he can be the biggest jerk of the 3. amazing edit tho and he is w/out doubt the best.

Thank u man. I’ve always had Toby as my favorite Spider-Man and honestly I think out of all 3 he’s the best. None of them replicate him man. By far the most heroic out of all of the spider men, best movies, best legacy. Andrew is good and all like tasm 1 was really good imo but idk man I don’t feel like they are as good as Tobeys. Every movie was like a lesson learned and I always go back to these movies. Goated action goated plots you actually care about the characters and everyone matters. Tom’s is a good fun movie but not a good Spider-Man movie. IMO Spider-Man 2 is the best Spider-Man movie to this day. People can say blinded by nostalgia all they want but it won’t change my opinion. None of this is for nostalgia and I actually grew up with Andrew’s the most. Tobey will forever be my favorite Spider-Man and the best of the three easily

Every Spiderman is unique in their own way which is so amazing about the character and the portrayal of him. Andrew wasn’t the best, or Tom, or Tobey. At the end of the day Spiderman is who you want it to be. A beacon of hope, the light on a dark day, or maybe even a dark character sometimes. It’s your choice and opinion and I wish others wouldn’t bash one another over it. Spiderman is a film that could be an escape for someone, whether it’s the one someone likes or not. (Not attacking anyone in this btw so please don’t take it like that)
