@laylonnalhurley: On July 7 2024 my husband and I could only watch as our home on wheels when up in flames, we were lucky we are unharmed, our furbabies are unharmed and others that stopped, slowed down or drove on the other side of the lane were also unharmed, it could of been worst! The next few days were almost a blur as we dug through the ash to see if anything was left of our life before would remain, 90% of our things destroyed, an unrecognized mass of melted plastic, paper and glass, our keepsakes looked much the same, the truck looks like something outta a apocalypse movie set prop, my husband lifetime tool collection were a melted mass of metal burned deep within the frame of what was left of our truck! The devastation sinks in! “ we will never be able to replace everything we lost, but atleast we have each other and our babies are ok! Nobody tells you what happens next, where do you go from here? As we started picking up the pieces of our lives we were filled with unconditional love from strangers and our family and friends! And the aftermath of it all is still leaving us in a daze of what to do now, now what? Where do we go! As I have spent the last few days washing what clothing we were lucky to have to get the smoke smell outta it.we go get a storage and go through the mess we were able to get outta of the rv that once was called our home… ( the fire was started by the fuel filter in the truck that we had replaced just two weeks prior to the fire) THIS WAS OUR HOME! ##CapCut
