MOIST CHOCOLATE CAKE RECIPE: Eggs:2 (large) Oil: 80ml (1/3 cup) Buttermilk : 235ml (1 cup milk + 1 tablespoon vinegar) Vanilla essence: 1 teaspoon All purpose flour: 215g (1 cup + 1/2 cup) Cocoa powder: 50g ( 1/2 cup) Baking powder: 1 teaspoon Baking soda: 1 teaspoon Salt: 1/4 teaspoon Warm coffee: 80 ml (1/3 cup) Dark chocolate : 60g (1/3 cup) + butter: 20g ( 2 tablespoons) CHOCOLATE FROSTING: Dak chocolate: 130g (3/4 cup) Butter: 65g (1/3 cup) Icing sugar: 50g (1/2 cup) Coco powder : 2 Tbsp (7.5g) Whipping cream : 100ml (1/4 cup) INSTRUCTIONS : 1. Beat the eggs and sugar, then add oil, buttermilk and vanilla essence. 2. Sift in the dry ingredients. And mix gently. 3. Add the warm coffee and mix again. Melt the chocolate and butter and mix in the prepared cake batter to intensifythe chocolatey flavour. 4. Pour in a round or square cake pan and bake at 160 C for 30 minutes. 5. Prepare the chocolate frosting by putting all the ingredients in one bowl and microwave it for 30 seconds and place in fridge for 30 minutes , once it thickens, frost your cake and enjoy! ⚠️TIPS: • You can combine all the ingredients together and melt in microwave or you can add the hot cream later like I did • You can leave the frosting as it is or you can whip it to make whipped chocolate frosting #chocolatecake #cake #chocolate #trendin #baking
