It’s amazing how they slept for 309 years and woke up feeling as if they had only slept for a day or part of a day. What’s even more astonishing is that when I learned that the sleeper and the dead do not feel the passage of time—and that sleep is a minor death—this explains why one does not sleep in Paradise, because there is no death there. Every time a person sleeps, they experience a kind of death. That’s why there is a hadith about the supplication upon waking: “Praise be to Allah who gave us life after He caused us to die, and to Him is the resurrection” (resurrection meaning the Day of Judgment).

Fun Fact: it’s actually not encouraged to say Inshallah (if God wills) when praying for someone or asking for forgiveness, the prophet said when praying dont say god forgive me if you will, but let a person be firm in what he wishes for. Inshallah is for future events that u intend to do.

If your read the Quran in Arabic you’ll notice that a lot of it rhymes so you can recite in a melodious tone and that also makes it a lot easier to memorise in Arabic even if you don’t understand the language but can read it and recite it

basically, when a delegation from Quraysh went to the Jews of Medina to ask about the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the Jews told them to ask him three questions. The first question was about a group of young men who had disappeared in ancient times, the second was about a traveler who roamed the earth, and the third was about the soul. The Prophet answered all these questions accurately, which served as proof of his truthfulness and prophethood.

Surah al Kahf is one of my favourite. I like the part where there are three things that happen to Moses when he travels with Khidr. It then shows that what May look like something bad is happening it’s actually God protecting you from something u can not see. Sorry I don’t explain very well.

The first part talks about the miracle of those guys..the second part talks about Moses and Alkhader story which shows that sometimes even bad things are mercy from God coz they happen to prevent worse things

The man went to the city and he was shocked cuz now everyone believe in allah and the coins he carried was so old (everytime someone rules the coin change) so the people were confused and they took him to the ruler and the man told him the story and took them to his friends ... then when they got back to the cave allah took their souls ...

This surah was revealed when the some of pegans, went to the jews of madinah to asked them about the prophet (peace be upon him), the jews tell them to ask him three questions to test him: some young men in ancient times who had a wondrous story,(the people of the cave), the story of a man who traveled to the east and the wast (Dhul-Qarnayn) and the nature of the soul.
