I’d recommend running some sort of water trap on the main air in, you can see water condensing in the airline. That could lead to rusting and seal damage on the pneumatic pistons

#1 cut the hose along the barb, it'll pop right off. #2 you may have been lucky so far but I've popped optics and sensors while working on them live. please power down replacing related components.

I was about to comment on the rubber protection... 🤣 are you going to save the old cable in case someday the wire breaks and that way you have a spare while waiting for the new one? and are they so complicated that they need to sell the full cable assembly instead of just the rubber protection?
