@aris.goldberg: I’m done staying quiet on the Shedeur Sanders situation, because someone needs to say it. Here’s a kid who does everything right - great character, incredible work ethic, Tom Brady as his mentor - and the Browns and the NFL are treating him like he’s radioactive. The Browns passed on him, the Raiders had Brady advising them and still said no. This isn’t about talent evaluation anymore. What’s really happening with Shedeur: • NFL owners sending a message about NIL deals and player empowerment • Good kid being punished for his father’s success and outspokenness • Clear pattern of passing on talent for “cultural fit” reasons The reality: When a player with this resume gets this treatment, it’s not about football. Shedeur could easily be entitled given his background, but he’s not. The disrespect is telling us everything about the league’s priorities.
