I worked with a broke rib for 2 weeks before I could get a doctor's appointment they told me it's broke but it's about healed now

my brother walked on 2 different broken legs and only discovered they had been broken after they had healed and was being examined for a different injury

high pain tollerence is a burden.. i walked into the ER with gallstone pain... turns out, i had a burst cyst that made a hole in my intestines.. gotta learn to watch out for anything

I have known people who have broken their foot just standing up out of a chair. It sucks, but it definitely happens.

I once broke a bone in my leg and only found out months later after an x-ray for an unrelated reason.

my dad broke his wrist but didn't know he did for years. then he jammed his thumb & went to the doc where they figured out he broke his wrist. he had to have a bone taken from his hip and put into this hand to fix it

Thunderstorms giving me 2 jumpscares and powers out currently at my second location of the work day. Backup generators aren't powering what is needed so everything is being done by hand at the registers. Writing quantities, skus numbers, names, card numbers, everything needed to process at a later date or when the power comes back on; hopefully before we close.😅

I get the High Pain Tolerance. I had Gout in both feet for 3 months and still walked on them.

My service manager, a close personal friend of many years who I have worked for at multiple shops, only Wednesday realized how severe pain I have to be in to even acknowledge it, let alone tell him I need to take a break or leave to deal with it. It clicked for him when I cut my fingertip through the nail and to the bone, cleaned it, bandaged it, and got back to work without even mentioning the pain (there was none, save for 5min when I came out of shock). Spud may be my long lost brother 🤣🤣🤣
