Here’s my most recent writing, hope you like it! Before I leave this frame of mind and my mind is framed together, let me write my piece— mind you, write my peace. Allow my thoughts to gather. Mind over matter but I must mind for it to matter. The older I get the less I comprehend time and this life blurs together and I try reading between the lines. Everyday breaths compiling into another thing I forget and don’t mind. I wouldn’t know love if it punched me in the face and took everything u had and disappeared with traces of regret and shame that I choose to blame on the fact that someone loved me in the first place. It’s their fault for hurting or expecting me to reciprocate a love unconditional that serves me conditionally because of the way I’ve had to advocate for the reason I should hate me. Maybe I have been loved and known it but been too detached to show it to the person deciding to give it, so I blow it. But I must mind for it to matter. -Lainey
