When old cars meant stuff from the 80s, yeah it was a problem. now stuff from the mid 90s and up is just fantastic.

I just bought a 2000 Toyota Rav4 with 197,000 miles on it. Runs like a dream. No screens. No bells or whistles. Base model. But I'm 66 and I think it will be my last car.

My newest rig is a 2001. I've had newer cars, but I'm done with the overpriced technogarbage. The big van, it's a 1990 1-ton Dodge and odometer stopped at 405k miles several years ago and still tows 5k pounds daily. Old school all the way. 🤙

Got a 2005 Silverado 4x4, 360k original miles. 2005 Subaru Outback XT 5-speed turbo, AWD. 2004 Toyota Matrix. These are all GREAT, reliable and long-lasting autos. All 20+ years old all 200k+ miles. All paid for, and NEVER STRANDED. Thanks for your post!

I went from a 2008 Elantra to a 2025 Mazda 3, and the only reason I allowed myself a new car was because it has buttons and the option to turn the screen off. Thank GOD

Growing up all my mom n dad had was older cars from the 70’s-80’s this was the mid 90’s to mid 2000’s mom didn’t get her first modern car till 2009 and my dad didn’t till a few years ago
