@the.frizzzz: One of the biggest ways I’ve chosen to fight back is by stepping out of the “traditional” work system. For the last 15 years I’ve been an independent contractor and I know that’s a huge privilege and I’m super grateful for it, but it’s also what’s given me the life I have now. It gives me the freedom to set my own schedule, the ability to say no to things I don’t align with, and the chance to actually enjoy my work instead of burning out just to pay bills. My rent gets paid, I meet incredible people, I get to travel, I have fun doing it, and because I usually walk away with a ton of free stuff, I’m able to live pretty frugally too. It’s definitely not a perfect system, but for me, it works and it lets me protect my mental health while still making a living. #frizzzz #animeexpo #losangeles #anime #brandambassador

15 years?! I worked the PGA event here in St. George last year for 3 days and it wrecked me. Granted I have pretty brutal full time job and did that just to watch some pro golf and get paid to do it😏
