To the people trying to use this to be like “see scientists were wrong!! Science is bs!! There was one sole individual who made claims that this was a dinosaur in 1887, and his own contemporaries argued that he was wrong and that it was wood. This isn’t a case of people went years believing this was a dinosaur. There were insistent claims by ONE man, and upon peer review it was determined he was wrong. This is the great thing about science and the scientific community is that mistakes will happen sometimes, but they are called out and corrected.
