they def don't and it's rare if they do. it's insane that the people making the decisions have zero knowledge or healthcare experience. I hated doing prior auths.

United Healthcare is the worse. Aetna now uses a 3rd party to approve things that never were denied. I had renal cell carcinoma. Both grandfather's had colon cancer. They found some 50 cm polyps so every year I have to get a lower GI. It took me 6 mths to get it approved even with my age and. polyps found. My meds are crazy expensive and they pay nothing.
