I think the lack of exposition is what really makes this film work. We only see what the jury sees, we never get to find out if they were “right” or not, and it leaves us with the sense of ambiguity that a real juror would feel in that case. It makes you feel like you’re a part of that narrative in a way few other movies can

I love 12 Angry Men and the anticipation that builds from just one conversation happening in a room. It truly is almost as tense as the award undeserving TV adaptation, Two and a Half Men. Yes, 12 Angry Men covers the way controversary can both spiral and be resolved. But the award undeserving TV show Two and a Half Men was a controversary in itself.
