The only solution for Google Mail is to use it only for Google purposes. My father don't have anything on Google mail and still he don't have space. He don't know how to use the mail. i think that is new politic of Google. Because we need to pay if we want something

For me not save my photos in google photos, have an external storage. Of course is work,but I back up ny pictures ones a year, in that year use Google photos meanwhile. But all my pictures are saved in a physical external Harddisk.
