It's also torture. Even when kids are anesthetized they feel serious pain and are awake during the procedure. Then also have to deal with the pain of healing

my ex husband was demanding it for our kid and I refused. made him watch videos of the procedure being done, both the old way and with the new machine methods and he realized I wasn't wrong. it's fucking weird and torture. beyond abuse, torture. it's done without anesthesia. THEY GIVE THEM TYLENOL. and claim they forget the pain they go through. it's insane.

hospital pushed me to do it for my son for 'health reasons' even though I felt really weird about it and I got lucky that it didn't work, like they did it wrong. lol

as a european, i picked up on how seemingly in america you get weird looks uf aren't circumsised and even that thought seems so strange. like, why. no Phimosis, no need for a circumsision.

My late husband chose to have it done at 36 and my brother chose to do it at 41... it should only be a choice for them to make unless like you say if it's medically necessary 👍🏻

my nephew’s mom got him circumcised at 10, and apparently told him if he didn’t he could get cancer. 😐 that’s what he told me. and i’m so upset he believes he’d get cancer if he hadn’ had it done. at least he was asleep while they did it, many babies aren’t given that luxury i think. grown adults should leave kids and babies genitals alone UNLESS there is a medical reason.

circumcision for non medical reasons are actually banned in my country by the constitution. it counts as a permanent body modification. i'm sure other EU countries have the same law. i'm surprised it's not like this in the US
