It’s so unfair they don’t live as long as we do. We’re on our seventh (I’m almost 60) and possibly last dog. We lost three of them in a two year time span and that was really rough. Everyone lived a long happy and healthy life. Each time was no easier than the last. Our current is just 3 years old and we enjoy walks on the farm, car rides, dinners out, lots of pup cups, chasing wild turkey and deer, herding our chickens and so much more. Many blessings and prayers to Teddy for a long and wonderful life.
