We cannot coddle them anymore than this generation already is - they do need to be able to speak up and as long as the teacher shows empathy, understanding, and grace, they will rise to the occasion. You are right 🙂

In my (public) school we had a presentation daily in at least one of our classes. I didn’t appreciate it until being an adult and seeing so many who can’t even say one word in front of a group.

NY just banned cell phones during the school day and students NEED to learn to talk to one another now more than ever. I can’t wait for students to start talking to one another more this year without their phones🙌🏻

I haven’t seen that video yet but I’ll have to go look lol. I mean I hate speaking in a group period BUT they’re also going to have to do it with some jobs because every training I’ve had at the bank you have to introduce yourself 🤣

As a High School Principal, I know students would love those activities even if they act like they don't. As long as the teacher is genuine and having fun, the students will be just as excited! You're doing great!

Never ever change as a paraprofessional that looks up to you, such a role model to so many educators including myself. Everything you do seems to be in the best interests of the students. Never change you're doing big things in the classroom for these kids. I love your videos ❤️❤️❤️
