This is my daughter right now. Most of you are going through the exact same thing but she doesn’t believe me when I tell her that. It is normal, give it time, you and all of our homesick babies have this!

Turn “missing home” into knowing how lucky you are that you had a great childhood and home life. Now time to semi-adult. Every day and everything you do is a step and something to be proud of. Today, look up the college clubs abd find a few that interest you. You’ll find others you share commonalities. Put those meeting places and times in your calendar and make yourself go to their first meetings. You got this.

As a mom, my advice as a kid once too, it's so hard. go out socialize, don't stay in your room, go to the gym. You are ALL in the same boat. You've got this!!!!

Don’t give up. And don’t go home until Thanksgiving break. Trust me. Give it one year and then decide. I guarantee you will be crying in May that you don’t want to leave your life and friends to go home for summer! Haha
