Aside from the public relationship/couple account, because I’d never do that, this is my biggest fear that after being together for that long that my partner would leave. This makes it so hard for me to believe that real love in the gay world can exist.

It's such a fear of so many gay men when it comes to LTR. We don't always know how we will age. It makes you feel disposable regardless of what you built. Seeing an ex move on is rarely easy and to know they're walking off with a sea of DMs and comments must be crushing when all you want to do is grieve.
