@retroclassicr: August 17, 1949 – John Thomas Hashian, better known as Sib Hashian, was born in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. He was an American drummer and a member of the rock band Boston. Hashian was selected by founder Tom Scholz in 1975 to replace Jim Masdea as drummer. He contributed to Boston’s albums Boston and Don’t Look Back. He also took part in the early sessions of Third Stage, but was later replaced when Masdea returned.
