@az.family.guide: Arizona has so much history and natural wonders to explore 🧡 3 underrrated National Monuments that were easy to explore with kids: 1. Canyon De Chelly - Canyon in Northern Arizona where the Long Walk started and the incredible Spider Rock formation is. We recommend staying at Thunderbird Lodge and taking a guided tour. You can also drive the rim tour yourself but to really get the history lesson I recommend the guided tour from the Navajo Nation. There are short walks to lookouts, but no real hard hiking. Great for kids & seniors! 2. Montezuma’s Castle - Learn about the ancient people who lived here. It’s less than 2 hours from Phoenix and such an amazing site. Easy, paved walk and great visitor’s center with so many history displays. 3. Chiricahua National Monument - “The Wonderland of Rocks” - there’s so much to see here, play in the grotto’s and learn about the history. You can drive the scenic drive to the top, walk, and hike 17 miles of trails. You can also camp here. Have you visited these National Monuments? Which one would you go to first?? ⭐️ Follow for more family travel destinations! #arizonacollective #familytravel #travelwithkids #visitarizona #arizonalife
