Cops should have offered to remove him from her home and ask if she wanted to file a police report. Those officers don't deserve to wear the shield. They seem completely incompetent

my mother called the cops on my dad for dv probably 15x.. she did it and got a report/documentation. thing is he never touched her once. she said she was gonna shoot him one night and they'd believe her bc she had records. she was a drunk, beat my dad, chased him with knives- but not once did he hit her. she was the aggressor. but to law enforcement a man whose 6'4 won't be believed. I told cops he never touches her and after cops left she'd beat me
