@topvelocity.net: 🔥 Another Little League pitcher touching 100+ MPH (80mph from their mound = 104 in the MLB)! ⚡️ How are these kids throwing so hard? 🤯 👉 Are they just naturally bigger and stronger? 👉 Or is it better training and mechanics? 👉 Could this level of velo at such a young age actually be safe long-term? This raises the big question… ⚾ Is youth baseball evolving into a power game way too early, or are we witnessing the future? 👇 Drop your thoughts — why are these Little Leaguers throwing gas like pros? #TopVelocity #LittleLeague #ThrowGas #100mph #FutureOfBaseball
UCL injury incoming. This velocity obsession for our youth will not end well

jordan.silva9 :
its the distance from the mound to home plate. so it looks like 100 to the batter. so yes its not 100 its 80

Trevor :
Seems to be confusion. Lemme help. It’s 80mph. Since these little guys pitch closer…… 80 at that distance gives you the same amount of time to swing as a mlb batter facing 100mph at their distance.

Jake :
They’re saying it’s equivalent bc of the distance from the mound to home is different in little league vs HS and so on

So he’s not throwing 100 mph he’s throwing 80. “ but that’s the equivalent to 100!!” ☝️🤓

80 is 80, equivalent doesn’t matter if he can’t actually throw it

So does that make soft toss from 10 feet away the equivalent of 200 mph?

The mound is like 10 feet from the plate, The bases are 30 feet apart. They need to change this
