all the perfectionists following you in the comments are talking about building homes, building bridges, cars or doing surgery to avoid dealing with the smaller things in their lives that they can act on. We want to avoid the work so bad by taking your example literally instead of figuratively.🤣🤣

yup and that's why bridges in the US don't last 10 years now. The old ones almost fair better than the new ones. Perfect is something to strive for but never achieve not something to ignore. This is an argument for big business making things cheaper and shodier. Kind of a poor example.

The ladder on the left sucks and represents 90% of what people produce. Perfectionism makes things better and if they don’t get finished, at least I didn’t produce something crap.
