I feel like this hades actor doesn’t really fit what hades is supposed to be. Like in this song especially, he’s supposed to sound like a machine. But he kinda drifts away from the tempo a bit sometimes and it feels not true to character

it bothers me that most orpheus actors when they sing their second part, while hermes is telling him to "look up" and the workers to "keep your head low", always look up in wonder at the realisation of why the seasons are wrong. he is NOT supposed to actually look up and see the storm !!! 😭😭

I love Boykins voice, but how he sings is kinda ehh. I saw him in person, don't get me wrong, he's still amazing, but it's almost like he's drifting away from the tempo. Along with that, when I went it seemed like he was trying too hard to get a laugh out of the audience even during tense parts💔
