I’ve heard the glass on those lamps can be INCREDIBLY fragile after shipping, it’s best to leave it by an open window all night so the glass can return to its “natural state.” maybe even keep the light on so the glass can get used to it being there! (I’m stealing your fucking lamp)

so actually this type of glass needs to be stored in a cool environment due to the microscopic plastics in it! i would place it on your windowsill with the window open for cool air <3
