@varshas_kitchen: One-Pot Red Lentil Dhal Follow for me. More recipes grab my 7 recipe challenge link in bio. Comfort in a bowl, ready in 30 minutes. Ingredients 200g red lentils
1 onion, chopped
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp grated garlic
1 green chilli, or ¼–1 tsp red chilli powder
1½ tsp ground coriander
1 tsp ground cumin
½ tsp turmeric
1 tsp salt
600ml water
 Optional tadka (flavour boost): 1 tbs oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
 Method 1. Add onion, lentils, ginger, garlic, and chilli to a pot.
 2. Stir in ground spices and salt.
 3. Pour in water and mix well.
 4. Bring to the boil, then cover and simmer for 25 minutes until soft and creamy.
 5. For the tadka, heat oil in a small pan. Add cumin seeds and garlic, let them sizzle until golden, then pour over the dal and stir through.
 Tip Dhal will thicken as it cools. Add a splash of water when reheating if you prefer it thinner. #IndianCooking #EasyRecipe
