BUT then you found my account 😏 If you’re tired of applying to hundreds of places and still never hearing back, I’m here to teach you the right way to job search, because I’ve been in your shoes before and had to learn through trial and error myself. So here are my biggest tips for you right now: [first, make sure to SAVE this!] 👉 Building your skills in public and learn from communities (e.g. GitHub, Medium, Kaggle) 👉 Actively sharing your learnings so that you can increase the number of people who know about your expertise (e.g. LinkedIn, Medium, personal blog) 👉 Optimize your LinkedIn profile so that it becomes your landing page that will attract opportunities without applying (get my free course on how to do that using the link in comments) 👉 Send out more coffee chat requests than applications. For each app, talk to at least 2 people in the company (e.g. find contacts through LinkedIn, finding emails using Hunter.io, ZoomInfo) 👉 Tailor all your applications to job descriptions.
